Found some interesting one in the last few weeks while sorting about 3lbs of stamps I do not collect U.S. stamps but I do have a thing for error stamps. So not actively, but "accidentally" collecting them
Here is the ameripex86 set of 4 souvenir sheets which are dedicated to the U.S. presidents and the fourth one is having a glaze thing shift?Don't really know how to call it technically. The other one is the 1961 stamps with yellow color shift.

Hammarskjold, not scarce at all. When the post office discovered the error, they printed up thousands and flooded the market, so as to avoid another 'inverted jenny' situation.

Yup, I have a half sheet of both regular and color-shift Hammarskjold so not rare at all. The other [e.f.o.??] I have never heard of.

Now there's a cinderella I'd love for the collection. Plus he looks like Walter Matthau.

The 1986 Presidential sheet looks very interesting. That's a major shift of the tagging from what I can see.

More info. on the Hammarskjold error stamp ... 40 million were printed ... in the words of the then-Postmaster General J. Edward Day, "The Post Office is not running a jackpot operation!"

I like that term "Day's Folly" and think I will label it as such in my album!

Thanks for the link. I knew the story, but I did not know that Sherman donated his original sheet to APS.

Did not H.E.Harris take it to court over the omitted Thatcher Ferry Bridge on the Canal Zone stamp and prevent the reprinting of the error? That may be why there was no reprint of the CIA error.

Scott specialized does not list this error. Perhaps sending some high quality scans to Amos to see if they feel it's worth listing.

The tagging shift on the Ameripex sheets is not rare, but an interesting curiosity.

IIRC, the "CIA invert" came to light some time after the stamps were out of production.

People who find errors of this type would be well advised to keep it to themselves for a few years.

The inverted color error is extremely rare and valuable, the re-issue invert is of nominal value.

An example of the error is below
