11A With Green Cancel

i got this because the cancel looks so clear and unusual but I just want to try to find out more info about the cancel is it a town cancel or a carrier cancel? I cant work out what it says, I know its an 11a but it looks never recut? but 1 top and 1 bottom blocks are joined which is a recuting error so is it recut but just recut(im going by the lines)? and the top half of the stamp looks very much darker than the bottom is this normal or is this the recuting?
this is only the second one of these I have and the other one was always recut so it was easy to tell

It looks as if the inner frame lines have been recut, so it is 11A. Perhaps the difference in intensity of color between the top and bottom is caused by different degrees of inking of the plate.

Could be Macon, GA. My old American Stampless Cover Catalogue lists Macon as using green 1850-51, the January (1852)? postmark makes it possible.
Recutting can be found on any 3c 1851 stamp, type I and II, #10, 10A, 11, and 11A. Yours is position 14R1L, has both label blocks joined, as mentioned, inner lines recut, and the charecteristic Plate 1L recutting of the top label block and upper right diamond block.

That would fit because the letters I could see are ACON but I couldn't find any where that the letters fitted. So is it a town/date cancel then?

Yes, it would be a Macon, GA circular date stamp.
