Was about to go and do my grocery shopping, but at the door I found a mailwoman about to press the doorbell. She gave me a package which almost made me propose marriage to her then and there... So now I am torn: do my groceries or go through the package... Now, it weighs about a kilogram and although I'm not naive (i.e. probably not much of any real value), and there's probably a lot of 'waste' stamps, I can't wait to sort through all this stuff. Already saw some great looking stamps of the Cocos Islands, Moldova, the Palestinian Authority and so on. Lots of Australia and USA as well at a first glance. Love me some sorting...

Hey Tinus, Just phone up and order a curry and get sorting! I would take a week off work too. DavidR |

Quote: She gave me a package which almost made me propose marriage to her then and there.. She has found your weak spot. She is off to a good start I would say. I want to help sort. What is the bigger stamp upper one o'clock direction, blue border with a light green interior? |

Curry ordered, debating whether to call in sick tomorrow (already had the foresight of taking Wednesday off), and considering staking out the post office in the hopes of 'accidentally' running into my dream woman once again. Puzzler, it's a used one from Qatar from 1997 (damaged at the top unfortunately): BC; I was in Tuvalu a while back too, so if there are any in there they're mine... |

Thank you for the close-up. That is a neat stamp with the perforations running part way into the stamp.
Possibly good to keep on piece, damaged or not, for the cancel tieing it to the piece, because it is from Qatar. |

I imagine she did philb. Take a look at the box this little treasure came in (apologies for the bad quality, my closeup photography skills aren't that good): Hey BeeSee, already found one... @Puzzler, was thinking the same thing, thanks for confirming my thought. |

I would probably forego the shopping and any other plans I had also. You'll have fun with that package I'm sure. Dianne |

With a lot that size, you may have to forego eating as well as any other biological needs to boot! |
