The latest 2012 stamps announced from the US Postal Service:

By the way, is anyone getting a bit upset with the way these 2012 stamp announcements are being released? First, they advertise that they will be announcing them one per day at 7:30 AM; then they change the time to 12:00 PM; then they skip days when 2011 stamps are scheduled to be issued; then they announce a series of 5 stamps as shown above, but for other multiple issues they only show one stamp and will announce the others on different days.

If someone were deliberately trying to alienate stamp collectors from the hobby, it seems that with this arrangement the US Postal Service is certianly doing a good job of it.

I tried tending a few Bonsai several years ago, but eventually they died. I think they are very beautiful and still have quite a few books on the subject & pottery.

I have one that's 130 years --- got it when I graduated from college

Seriously, I think they're great, but I've never been able to get one to live. There's an arboretum about an hour away -- they have a permanent exhibit of bosai. It's fabulous.
