Lunar Year stamps and s/s from Macau since 2006:

2006 - Year of the Dog:

2007 - Year of the Pig

2008 was the year of the Rat and was a new cycle in the lunar series

Instead of just one stamp, the series has 5, each stamp representing each of the 5 elements of the zodiac signs: Metal, Wood, Fire, Earth and Water. Normally, on one of the stamps the image is embossed.

2009 - Year of the Buffalo

The 5th stamp has the embossed image. Same as the s/s

2010 - Year of the Tiger

First stamp is embossed, just like the s/s stamp.

2011 - Year of the Rabbit

Once again the first stamp is the embossed one.

Christmas Island (Australia) 2004 Year of the Monkey single.

This is gold foil on the monkey and letters. I like all these gold foil stamps for some reason. Probably as close to real gold as I am going to get! lol
