I believe these are Scott type PT7 but the overprint makes them postage for prisoner of war free mail. Scott does not catalog these. Does anyone know Gibbons or Michel. Also the PT7 style was made during WWII, would these POW stamps be for WWII also? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance - Jeff
Thanks for showing these. I've never seen them before but they are listed in the SG catalogue as SG F1809 and F1811 from 1946 described as franks for internees' mail via the Red Cross and come from a set of seven. These are all priced at £1.50 each mint and £1.60 each used in my 2009 SG Part 3 catalogue.
