Looks like you've had a productive month so far and there is still a week and one/half to go! |

Really nice. I also like the Columbians and the presidentials. Keep on truckin, philatelic wise.

Ron,
FYI, I'm looking for a nice #10...

You've been a busy boy. Very nice. That #10 has been eluding me as well. Perhaps that should be my next quest. Well done.

Thank you although the Colombians kind of make me mad in a way as the ones I can afford are not worth buying and the ones I need are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive. I think I will, at this point, just upgrade the ones I have to used but decent centering unlike the ones above, and just move on. I do have the #244 but sent it out to be certified and have yet to get it back but I only lucked into that and will not actively peruse the rest. If I would see a nice used and sound example for a decent price then maybe but it's not on my top 10 things-to-do list. |

It's not so much that they are too expensive but rather they just have not come around yet at your price point. One thing I learned about filling gaps is to be patient and if you wait long enough, you will get what you want for a good price. I have been chasing the 299 (Last Pan-American I need) for months now but still haven't found the one that fits in the price that I want to pay. I have missed a few, but there will be many more opportunities to get what I want. Everyone has their own criteria, but mine is anything after the turn of the Century must be unused and well centered, hinged or not does not matter to me but centering is everything. |
