Hi Everyone,
I don't know much about hand cancel stamps or why. I do have some from the late 1800's, USA stamps, but I come across a few of these and thought I would ask if anyone knows why there is writing on them, if they really are hand cancel stamps, what year, what was the purpose etc.

Thank you!

All would be "Revenue" usages. But, I am not sure on the Chilian or the Nicaraguan.

The Nicaraguan is a genuine overprinted stamp
with a facsimile signature of
R E Deshon, minister of transport and J R sevilla, PMG.

Nice one!
