your 3rd one from the left (top row) doesn't belong with that set. It's Scott#684 1½¢ Harding and the one that goes there is a #553 also a 1½¢ Harding. Great looking stamps though! I love that #623 black 17¢ Woodrow Wilson! I actually need that 9¢ Jefferson I think. -lol;
I love this set so thank you for showing it. Nice scan too!

I just noticed that your 4¢ should be Martha Washington (#556) I believe the one shown is #685.

Thanks for pointing out the wrong stamps to me. I do have all the other stamps but they're used. Also have the rest of the set used in good condition. P.S. I'm not at all attached to my Woodrow stamp!!Have another used that looks great.

Hard to see but these are all never hinged?
My eyes finally see the corner hinges. Had not seen these in awhile. They must have been tiresome to mount.

Nice batch of stamps.

However, I would strongly recommend you no longer use the corner mounts. In the long run, they will likely leave a mark (e.g., a paper bend, uneven "aging"/toning of the paper...).

mac,click on pic and it gets a little bigger. I found this worldwide stamp album in the garage of a house I purchased 10 yr. ago. I definately can't even fix these corners. Any tips on how to "save as" pics and where to save them to would help me out. Thanks, Sally

Thankyou KH. I won't hinge or corner any stamps. They are going in glassines. The stamps are flying off the pages like crazy!

Sorry, none of these is SC 551 to 566. They are all the later rotary press 11x10.5 varieties.

I agree with khj, trash the cornor mounts. Put them into a glassine or stock book. I'm sure they looked good when they were 1st mounted but they can cause problems now. No telling how many loose ones have fallen out by now.

re:I love stamps. I am still a newby on the forums. By the way...After you scan and get everything perfect...where do you "save as" to??I'm saving as and it goes to stamps but they over-ride each other. When I try to download my new scan the previous scan downloads. Hmm??Can you tell me your exact steps??
Much thanks, Sally

Sally, I'm not sure exactly what you're doing but you'll probably need to assign each image that you want to save a distinct name or they will continue to overwrite each other. Steve

You should be able to type a file name over what may now be the default "stamps" -- if that doesn't seem to be an, then just rename the file after you've saved it.
