I created a folder on my desktop (in Windows -- just right click anywhere on the desktop and select NEW and then FOLDER, then name it). When my scanner finishes, it shows me a small pic of the scan, so I click and hold the mouse button down while I drag it into the folder. If there is an image in there already with the same name (my default is IMG) it asks me if I want to stop altogether, to replace the old one or to give a new name to my latest scan. I give it a name.
