I've been participating in the forums for awhile, but I neglected to introduce myself.

I collect world wide classical era 1840-1940 stamps. That means about every forum topic is relevant for me.

I really like the tenor of SCF- helpful, friendly and educational without big egos getting in the way unlike some other stamp forums.

I do have a stamp blog which focuses on the fun of collecting the classical era using the Scott international part I album. That takes up quite a bit of my time.

Check it out if you like classical era stamps.
I usually hang out in the classical pre-1940 stamp forum. Recent entries include Danish west indies, Danzig, Dominican republic and Dahomey. As one can tell, I like the whole world.

One of my "hidden agendas" is to get folks interested in collecting the whole world again, perhaps as a secondary collection to their main interest. The combination of history and beautiful engraved stamps of the era are hard to beat! And contrary to what one would think, 80 per cent of the era are quite inexpensive!
