I first started collecting in 1977 with an Independence Album that my Aunt gave me as a birthday present. I kept up with collecting thought the mid 1980's then stopped collecting as work, girls and fun took over my time. I picked up collecting again in the mid 1990's and switched everything over to Scott Albums and kept it up again until 2001 when life changed, divorce, career, etc. I just opened my album's up again about a month ago and have been trying to get my sea legs back, organizing old stock pages, looking up things that I have long since forgotten. When I stopped in 2001 I was focused mostly on 19th century fancy cancel's, DPO's and was attempting to make a calendar run (didn't get to far). I still have my copy United States Cancellations 1845-1869 by Skinner & Eno. Looking forward to getting back up to speed with the help of the community on the board. Look forward to taking to you all.
