Just thought I would drop in and say Hi everyone. I collected U.S. Stamps as a teenager then when I went off to the Air Force,Got married and raised a family. I forgot all about collecting stamps until a friend perked my interest up this summer. My newest album quit in 1963 so. For my Birthday in August my wife bought me the three volume Heritage Collection Albums. I am looking forward to starting over and transferring stamps into the new albums. I have forgotten most everything I ever knew about collecting stamps. I'm now 66 years old. I'll be reading a lot of old posts to learn what I have forgotten. I haven't a clue where my duplicate stamps are but will find them sooner or later I hope.

Charles, Glad to see you here. Everyone on this forum will be happy to help in any way we can. Got a question, just ask. We can't tell you where your duplicates are but we can tell you about them. I was Air Force myself, 1966-1970, it seems like a lot of us "older" guys are getting back into the hobby. Art |

Welcome to the forum Charles I am sure that there are a lot of well qualified collectors in here than can answer at least 95% of your questions - if not more <G> While I consider myself an experienced collector, I still learn something new in here all the time. Chimo Bujutsu |

Welcome Charles. Like you and many others here I returned to collecting these babies after 30 years away. No air force, just life. But that was more than enough to distract me. Now I'm back with a vengeance, and obsession. Welcome back to the fold. |

Welcome Charles!
And thanks for your service to our country. I retired from USAF in 2001 (has it been 10 years ago already??)
I collect USA stamps too. I've always liked aircraft so I think that is why I also collect World Wide Airmail stamps.
Glad to have you with us. Hope you find your stamps sooner rather than later.

Charles: we parallel each other including the air force. I dragged everything out and am playing catch-up. |
