Hi Ron,
I'm new here too! You have a good start with the first three Scott Internationals. You are covered for the world then though about 1955 or so. As for hinges, I agree with you that it is hard to find good ones. I use old Dennison or fold-o-hinges when I can find them. Basically any hinge over 30 years old is good.
