to S.C.F. nicole! A couple handsome looking stamps you have there!

The first one is possibly a #331? SC value for used .40¢ but that one is a little off center so probably less.
The second one is #562 Used SC Value- .35¢ looks like a pulled or damaged upper right hand perfs though.

Your #331's earliest known use was sometime in December 1908 and #562 January 15th, 1923. Usually for the older issues it's the earliest known usage found on a cover (envelope).

Also the cancels on those stamps is quite interesting. Notice the partial flag on the 331 and the other looks like it may have been cancelled in Washingto DC. My be a flag cancel or just a "Killer" (wavy bars used to obliterate the stamp and make it unable to be reused.)
