Here are scans of some items I found while going through one of my cover boxes.

These are tickets for admission to the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893.

I do not know how many more "Presidents" appeared on the tickets, but here are two of those that we can all recognize.

On the back if notes these were printed by American Bank Note Company, NY and that the "paper patented March 31, 1891".

Just thought I would share.

Enjoy

Bob

Very nice items, Bob! These are probably the most attractive and intricate tickets ever made. There are several people here who collect these expo tickets and can tell you quite a bit about them.

Very nice material
Lincoln's ears look very large in that top vignette.

I collect them but getting ready for bed at the moment and just seen this and thought I'd chime in quick. There is Lincoln, Washington, Franklin, American Indian, Handel the minstrel. Plus the Chicago day & Manhattan day tickets, day passes and children's tickets. There is probably more but that's what I can remember off the top of my head. Very handsome ticket you have there!

PoStat4evR,

I love those tickets. If interested in more information concerning these and other exposition tickets do a search using "1893 Colombian Expo" and you'll see many other post.
