Hello,

have been a collector off and on for 50 years now....more "on" in the last 2 decades than "off".

Started buying and selling on ebay with the use of an agent in the US in the very early days of ebay.

Am a member of the APS, (been a member 3 or more times but this time I,m staying) .....use the Stampstore to sell, (plan to do a lot more in the future).....mainly GB and Islands at the moment.

My wife and I have a large and varied stock of postcards, cigarette cards, trade cards etc featuring dogs and sell on a couple of online auction sites....Bidstart, (was Stampwants) and ebay and will list on Delcampe at some point once the 36 hour day comes into force!

Philately has always been my main collecting love with Machins and modern GB being my main area of interest at the moment.

Looking forward to being a part of this forum and helping where possible to answer questions and asking a few of my own.

Best wishes to you all.

Brian.

As (the very English) Winston S. Churchill, once said: "The only bad thing about Scotish people is that there are too few of them". Is great to have another Caledonian among us.
I'm sure that you'll enjoy your time here, and make great contribution to the community. Wellcome Brian!

Thanks again to all of you who have taken the time to welcome me....it is much appreciated.

Sorry to say Cursus that I cannot lay claim to being a true Caledonian...my wife and I are part of the English diaspora that have made their home in Scotland just as many from Scotland have done so in England.

My family on my mothers side are from Cumbria, (the English Lake District) and my grandfather was very much a Borders man.....(Northumberland and Cumbria form part of the Border with Scotland).

Best wishes to all,

Brian.
