Hello all...Even though I have been a member for 2 years, I have not spent much time here due to health problems...I am back again, all the way from Newfoundland, Canada. My name is Cliff and I have a small colllection of 7,000 +. I am an amateur, but, thanks to you experts here, I am beginning to understand about impers, perfs..etc...Hopefully I will be posting some questions and stamp photos here when my scanner has been revived....Thnx for allowing me to be here.....Cliff

Welcome, Cliff!

I'm glad your health has improved so you could join us! 7,000+ stamps is a small collection? Then mine is a miniature collection! hahaha

Hello Cul Lector (Cliff), welcome!

What part of Newfoundland are you in or from ? I'm in Halifax here but know someone in the North in Middle Arm.

I am curious if you collect or know anyone who does collect, the Canada 2010 marine Life booklets (issued jointly with Sweden) as I was putting together a list of the serial numbers and oddities of them on Stamp Community and hadn't had any input from Newfoundland at all.

Or do you belong to a stamp club or group there? Is it on the web if so and I may contact them to ask my non ending questions. lol

Do you collect certain countries or worldwide?

Questions, questions. There now you can ask questions, I've asked enough of you!

Thnx, Puzzler..First of all I am from the Burin Peninsula. No, I don't know of any collectors in this area..I understand that there is a stamp club in St. John's, but, since I rarely get in there, I don't know who runs it or how many members there are...I purchased a collection from a relative some years back consisting of stamps from around the world, the earliest being 1861 to the 1960s....................I usually pick up some souvenir sheets, but that is the jest of it..
