Hello Everybody,

As a new member on this forum, I would like to introduce myself.

I live in south west of France, near Spain and on ocean shore.
I started my stamp collection at age of 20, actually I am 55 years old .
I collect oldies, what we all call classic stamps.
I have an advanced collection from Europe & Africa starting from first issues till year 1920.
I'll be glad to share philatelic knowledge with you, and hope to be able to help some of you.

All the best from France.

PS: please forgive me for my approximate English, I guess I need much more practice...

Hello everybody,
Thank you very much for your very warm welcome.
Just to whet your appetite and attract your curiosity, I would like to show you 2 photos of my stamp's album (stamp album cover only).
Please feel free to ask for a scan from any country you wish to see the stamps. Remember that I only collect stamps from Europe & Africa till 1920.

I also, might be able to help about classical forgeries or reprints.

All the best from France.
Billys

Hi Puzzler,

I confirm, it's the kind of album where you have a case for each stamp emitted before 1920.
My challenge is to fill it, for all represented countries.
I believe that it's an impossible challenge.
There are genuine stamps and forgeries inside, my interests are how to identify all these stamps and to accumulate documentation about forgeries & reprints.
Therefore, I need the help of this community and I can also share my knowledge with you.

best regards from France.

Billys

Thanks Dianne and Finches for your welcome.

By the way Finches, I live on south-west coast of France, it means that I'm quite far from Switzerland (no CERN around), but very close to Spain.

Regards.
