I decided to jump in a book and start there. here are 16 stamps from a book called United States Liberty Stamp Album. the pages run by year. the newer the year, the more the pages are filled in.these are the oldest in the book.

Well! Don't give up your day job, but some of these stamps are nice, with SOME value. Underneath, the stamps are penciled in numbers. Assuming they are the Scott catalogue numbers (the standard method of identifying stamps in USA), some of them have a catalogue value of $20.00 or some). Note the words catalogue value. Actual condition will dramatically effect the actual value. And most buyers will expect a discount from catalogue value.

Thank you. Any info is a great help. I'm not trying to get rich here. My mother gave me my brother's collection after he died. As I said in my original post, I'm not sure what to do with all of this. I may keep it. I'll just keep sending pictures along with my post. Thanks to all you kind souls for your help.

This looks like what we normaly call BOB (back of the book) stamps. Some airmail stamps and a lot of revenue stamps. Fancy cancel on that old US stamp there. I dont see any great values, but I am not a Revenue expert.

Yup!, Back Of Book stuff

If you want to start getting them in order consider a "stock book" because they are not costly and look great and easy to move the stamps around in. Just a thought. Google lighthouse stamp supplies but from the looks of it I just noticed that some are already in an album so your call really! Nice looking "banknotes" too! (up top)

Hi,

Sorry it's been so long. I have been working long hours and weekends for OT, pre-pairing for the holidays. I have some more pictures from the same book. I have switched to a camera, so the photo quality has changed. please keep in mind that I am manually re-sizing these and pasting them on a separate page. The sizes are all over the place. I am no professional with my Paint Shop Pro program. I hope to see responces again. I will try to post more often, but I am still working OT. Thank everyone who has responded so far.

Bud

Hi again,

The farther I get in this book the fuller the pages get. If anyone is familiar with it, (United States Liberty Stamp Book) and know of any particular stamps that may be of interest in this book just let me know. Otherwise if this book is boring I can change.

Bud
