The only one I'm pretty sure I know is the 45-cent Harvey Cushing, MD stamp. the "U(K)" perfin is likely the University of Kansas. However, my listing of college/university perfins suggests that perfin was used up until 1984, when the stamp in question was issued in 1988. It is not unheard of that they could have applied the perfin to a later issue, though, as there is no prohibition against such activity.

Row 1: all revenue usage companies.
#1 haven't found yet, #2 D140 Dean Whitter & Co, NY,NY #3 haven't found yet.
Row 2:Regular issue items: #1 G172, Guaranty Trust Co, NY, # 2 S81, user unidentified, #3 P52 Pullman Company, Chicago, IL, #4 U39,5, University of Kansas, #5 U87, United States Stationery Company, NY, NY.

All are common. The most valuable is the S81 with a "D" rating.

When I get more time I will research the other two revs. Perhaps someone will know the answer before I can get to it.

Hope this helps

Let's see, without actually holding the stamps....
row 1 # 3. Likely "Wilcox & Co, NY, NY"
Row 1 # 1. Likely "Auerbach,Pollak & Richardson, NY,NY"

That should about get them all.

It is truely easier to actually hold the stamp and place it over the patterns in the ctalogs, as some perfins have many MINOR differences along with the same pattern.
