This is an image of a U.S. postage stamp. The design is from off of a well known patent medicine known as
HUNT'S REMEDY and pictured this on it's U.S. Internal Revenue stamp. It was meticulously engraved by who I believe to be
The National Bank Note Company and from what I can gather it was designed by William E. Clarke who at the very least commissioned it.
Anyhow, I can't seem to locate it in the scott catalog. Can anyone shed some light on this design? and also the number. Thank you.
