So, I went into my garage to find some stuff for my son, and came across some stuff I completely forgot about. I found a box of old Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rule books, which excited my kids quite a bit. Then I found a plastic box filled to the top with Scott Stamp Mounts and pretty much every stamp from Ukraine from 1992-1999 including Soviet overprints! Also found some US Air Mail stamps!

It's going to be a fun Sunday afternoon!

Sort of like a squirrel,
who just found an old cache of buried nuts :)

I knew I had mounts somewhere, just couldn't find them. I remember buying a few stamps from 1992, but it looks like I bought a lot more than that. It sucks when you mothball your hobby for a few years and then move. Things get lost...

I know what you mean. I still haven't found my Umm al Qiwain album.

They make Umm al Qiwain albums?

They make albums for everything. I'm more surprised that someone collects Umm al Qiwain stamps.

Then again, there's probably some stamp collector that wonders how anyone can collect US stamps.

Hey Philb, that's your cue.

I only colled Umm Al Qiwain issues that were issued for postal use, as I do for all the trucial states.

I decided against a hingeless Umm al Qiwain album . . .

I can see why...you need flexibility for all the varieties. CTO bottom left, CTO bottom right, etc, etc.

I'm still back on the Dungeons and Dragons rule books. I did not think they were old. I still have mine and my original B1 module.

I found the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons hardcovers. I wish I could find my old Dungeons and Dragons boxed sets. I had the Basic and Advanced set.

I still have all of my original D&D stuff, including the original xeroxed edition of Chainmail from 1974. The only thing I can't find is my old worldwide stamp album from when I was a kid. I put it somewhere at my parent's house, along with my original U.S. album after I transferred all of my stamps to a new album and I haven't the slightest clue where it ended up.

I always get excited when I change my clothes out for the seasons-- I never remember what I had, and sometimes there is a few bucks in a jacket pocket. Its like shopping in my own closet.

Somewhere on an old floppy disk, I have the code to DD for a V5 UNIX system (circa 1976). It was a character version, no GUI back then. Then again, I moved around a lot and may have tossed it.
