Here are two beautiful stamp collecting book marks sent to me from Emma in Australia! How did she know that I tear off pieces of newspaper and use them as book marks ? Thanks so much sweet Emma!
Also, I got with my monthly charge card billing an offer from Mystic Stamp Co. for 3 FREE "classic mint US stamp". Of course, if I accept these stamps, then Mystic will send me monthly packets of stamps for approval--no thanks! I thought it interesting that stamps are even coming in my charge card bills! ha
They're everywhere--stamps-stamps-stamps!

I have 3 bookmarks that are actual stamps. 2 of them I bought at the St Louis Botanical Gardens gift shop about 4-5 years ago. They are bonsai tree stamps from Japan and Malaysai (I think). The other one is from my grandmother and it's a series of Denmark stamps. All of the are 2 sided and laminated, there appears to be black paper between the 2 sides of stamps. I have considered making some myself, but I don't have a laminator machine. They would be great gifts which you could customize for each person and promote stamp collecting at the same time.

If you have a steady hand and some patience you can by map tac wich is clear sticky on one side paper and put it on both sides of your book mark.

I'll have to see if Hobby Lobby has any maptac or something similar. I might make some to sell at my stamp club's Fall Bourse in October. I have some US dupes I could use.
