Is a certain part of my brain working faster than another part, jumping ahead and assuming the rest will be done in order to catch up with the fast part?

Yes! Preach it!

I have literally asked myself "Am I a dyslexic typist?" How is that possible? I am a very experienced typist. I don't even have to look at the screen, let alone the keyboard to type. In fact, I think I type better when I'm not looking at the screen!

I wonder if the guy who created this splash screen suffered from the same malady as I?

Read the title of the the movie carefully ...

H lp! S m b d st l ll th v w ls fr m m k yb rd!

Hopefully that never happens while posting a reply!

On the other hand... "edited by XXXX" plus the timestamp could be used as a signature? May give rise to confusion if too many "edited by" appears on the same message though... or is that just me!

I forget to spell check, too and typically edit the post when I see an error.

Anyway, in the theme of this thread, I thought you might enjoy this poem (if you haven't seen it before):

Quote:
Spell Czech

Eye halve a spelling chequer,
It came with my pea sea;
It plainly marques four my revue,
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word,
And weight four it two say;
Weather eye am wrong oar write,
It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a mist ache is maid,
It nose bee fore two long;
And eye can put the error rite,
Its rarely ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it.
I am shore your pleased two no;
Its letter perfect in it's weigh,
My chequer tolled me sew.
