Please post more I have not seen that many of the 300 plus that were used.

Never knew they existed.
Perhaps next time, cut the scan in half , and post two images,
so we can get a better
view, rather than squinting at it.

Hi, Rod, thanks, took your advice and here it is again in halves plus the colours enhanced. I now realise that the bigger images do not travel well in the reduction to <100kb. I am more used to working with pictures straight off the camera at 1Meg or so and not scans in this way.
Next time I'll try for fewer stamps and more pictures.

By the way these postmarks were issued from about 1854 to 1860.
There have been several books that list them, the one I have is by R.C. Alcock from 1984.

That's a really wonderful collection,
showing the foresight of some to retain on piece for postmarks.
No doubt you are very proud to own it.
