i know very little about this type and plating but have been looking more and more about this plating and descriptions.
there are some interesting online sites and it mentions about the left triangle and 5 recut lines.

i could be completely wrong but need to see if this could be a plate number 95L1

i appreciate all of your opinions

i have posted this stamp before and it was noted about the postmark
it was stated that no city had an apostrophe in its name

Glad to see somebody getting interested in the 3c 1851 stamps and plating. Your stamp is not 95L1L. The five recut lines would be veritical, not horizontal. I will try to post an image of a 95L1L tomorrow. I would guess this stamp is from Plate 2L.

Here is a 95L1L.




This is a blowup of the upper left triangle of a different stamp.
