I enjoy sifting through the ebay listings looking for precancels for my collection. Some are priced nice and low - some too high, When I see something priced at 10 times 'normal' retail I wonder what the seller was thinking. When I see items listed at 100 times normal, I think 'we should have a topic here to commemorate those misguided sellers'. But when they list them for over 1000 times true value - I am in awe of greatness: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1938-US-Sta...em3a6d4a413c

I find it interesting that the seller says, "I don't know much about stamps..." but assures us that, "ALL ITEMS ARE AUTHENTIC."

Based on the sellers other stamp items, I think this is an error.

Here is my favorite outrageous listing, which I stumbled upon yesterday actually:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/HAWAII-INVE...ht_500wt_715

I like how the inverted precancel is described as a "rare gem."
