Hi to all
I wonder if it reached its destination just addressed to Nuremberg Europe.

Yes, it certainly is a nice cover.

As to the named addressee, C. Leuchs & Co. of Nuremberg, this excerpt may be of interest. It was taken from "The Gold Bulletin", Vol 12, No. 3, out of an article entitled "Gold within the Pottery Industry: The history and technology of gilding processes" (by L.B. Hunt):

Is it a three color cover because each stamp is a different color?
If so, if there are only 2 different colored stamps is it called a 2 color? How many colors can one have?

I love the handwriting on old stuff. Now a days, with computers, email, typing, I wonder if they still teach cursive in the schools? I saw The Amazing Race the other day, one of the challenges was to type an old typewriter, and they had problems with that

I loved typing on typewriters!

I also notice the seven horizontal lines with the number 5... what's the difference between the straight horizontal lines and the wavy flag like lines? I think I recall from one of my threads that the number in the lines, is the machine number....

Thank you all!
