Hi,

Is blue cancel are common on revenue stamps?



For me, it's a very fine and beautiful cancel.

Maybe it is a black cancel but look like blue green.

Not as common as manuscript cancels, but not uncommon either. The late usages of R15c/d are full of black and blue circular and oval cancels.

The ink is definitely blue. Any appearance of green in this case is an optical illusion due to the yellow component of the stamp's ink.

True green cancels are quite scarce:
