Kia Ora Everyone - Please let us know your thoughts & suggestions,as this is my 48th post. I will read thru all your comments and draw up a list of simple rules, which will be emailed to members wanting to be part of a Round Robin.

The following are suggestions sent by "londonbus1" (Many thanks)
Points to observe for Round Robins.
Start each RR in a new thread and number and title them.
[Round Robin #1, Used Worldwide stamps.]

For any subsequent Robins, do not show a scan of the stamps, it makes it a bit more intriguing opening the unknown !

Stamps should be free of stains, tears, short or damaged perforations
and blotchy cancels. Only good sound stamps should be used.

For any future Robins, do not mix Definitives with Commemoratives. This might sound picky but slowly cheap definitives may be added at the expense of Commems giving others less choice.
Definitive Round Robins are fun too.

When you have received the envelope and checked the stamps you should post a message on the appropriate RR thread topic. This should be compulsory for the efficiency of the game. If you come across any poor stamps you should specify this in your message. With this rule in place, and it should be 'LAW', then I am pretty sure everyone will use good stamps. [Being shamed on the forum you love would not be much fun !]. It will also mean that only serious traders will be interested. This rule works by the way, trust me.

Do not mix Mint and Used. Used can be sent in a glassine between stiff card to avoid damage as Joeytoat stated. Mint Round Robins should have the stamps placed in small stockcards or similar.
Again, don't mix Defins and Commems.

When you have taken and replaced stamps and sent it on, leave a message again on the appropriate RR thread that it's on it's way to MR.'X'.

Some RR have a min and max take and replace but I do not think this is necessary. Opinions welcomed.

In fact, opinions welcomed on all my suggestions/waffle.

Q. Should new members be able to take part?

Cheers.
