Here are some images of a few of the covers. Any comments on condition and value or remarkableness, please say so.

I'll probably load entire albums onto photobucket.

Thanks,
Jim

4th from the top. Byrd Expedition. If that's a C. Stephen Anderson autograph, then that cover could be worth more than a standard one. He was a noted cachet producer back in that day and an autographed copy of his work is likely to be of more value than a regular cacheted cover.

If you decide you want to trade off the Arkansas Centenial, keep me in mind.
I collect FDCs on the topic of States.

As for value, most that old are in the $1 to $5 range.
There are some oddballs that bring more on occassion, but I don't know if there are any in that group.

I collect a certain number of these era covers - the 1930s were kind of the beginning of them .. a lot of dealers call them EVENT covers (meaning non-first day covers, I guess).

I focus on holidays; food; Western, Native Americans; and anything kind of quirky, and certainly go into the 1970s and 80s (at least).

I like the early ones like you have, though. (Ah, if I ever get a scanner ...)
