Ever seen one of these?



The first one in New England was just installed in Derry, NH. While stamps collectors will not be pleased with the "colored bar code sticker" that will take the place of a postage stamp, it does add yet another dimension to 21st century stamp (er, meter) collecting:

Haven't seen one but the system reminds me of the FRAMA stamps (ATM stamps) of Europe that I have seen so far.

Haven't heard of these in Canada yet either, although they may be here in larger cities perhaps.

Here's the Singapore equivalent, the SAM or self-service automated machine. It dispenses ATM stamps, among other functions.
