OK can anyone tell me waht stamp supplied the "fire" on the log ?

Hint: the stamp always reminds me of the ball
that Tom Hanks had as a friend in the film "Cast Away"

You thinking Wilson? More likely a Harding. The 1 1/2c Harding was brown. Wilson was black.
Or possibly a 4c Martha Washington.
We're talking US stamps of course. 1922-25ish series.

OK, I'm game. My revised guess would be an 1890s Lincoln, probably 1895 judging by the shade of brown.





The end of the log might be another matter. I'll put my Sherlock hat back on.

looks like I should have turned this into a contest to see who could identify the most stamps used in the picture......LOL. I am glad everyone is having fun with this and enjoying themselves figuring out what was used
