Has anyone experienced poor customer service with using the 1-800-STAMP-24 Order Line to the US Postal Service? I just tried to call them during regular business hours (Monday at 1:30 PM) to place an order for certain items from the USA Philatelic Catalog and after two introductory messages I was left with a message that said in a deep male voice:

"Due to high call volume we are unable to take your call at this time. Please try your call again later."

...and then the system hung up on me!

No respectable business would ever hang up on a potential customer like that, they would simply place the call in line for pickup by the next available customer service representative.

If this is an example of USPS Customer Service, it's no wonder they are losing customers.

Anyone else have a similar experience?
