Stamp from the Arab Republic of Egypt (ARE). However, it, and the surcharge, don't show up in Scott. This came out of a passport.

I think these are the statues of Rameses 2 / Rameses 11
at Abu Simbel
That may assist you search the Scott CD?

Egypt is tough to ID sometimes.

As this stamp came from a passport, and it's denominated in dollars, I'd guess it must be a revenue stamp - paying visa fees, presumably
