I am currently looking at an REA9 "Beer Stamp". Does anyone have any information on this odd looking Revenue? Cat value? Purpose & Usage perhaps? It would be a humongous help to me. If you would like to see it I'll provide the link. This is one that I am NOT considering byt it is close. In my opinion much better in appearance and the "Ribbon" around the border on mine is completely intact (Not cut into. Thank you very kindly.

The 2011 Scott Specialized gives a CV of $50 for an REA9 that is cut to shape.

It also notes that the values for "REA1-REA13 are for stamps with small faults, due to the fragile nature of the thin paper."

Something's hinky. Same seller has the exact same stamp (same image) in another auction, that one with a bid:

Eric Jackson has two infinitely nicer examples (NOT cut to shape) in his inventory... although they're infinitely more expensive.

SCV = $250 untrimmed unused, and $300 untrimmed used.

$200:

$175:

There's an untrimmed one in the APS store at $125. Stained though:

Thank you! The one I'm looking is at an actual "Brick & Mortar" establishment. It is trimmed in a circle but not close at all. From the looks of the original it looks like said person just rounded off the edges that's how much is there. They are asking 75.00 and I really liked it but I think after sleeping on it and reviewing the info here that I may just pass on it all together.

Thank you both for the wealth of information you have provided.

I really must breakdown and buy a specialized catalog.
