It`s a beautiful stamp! Can`t tell if it`s a small or
large stamp. I like the small ones with flags. Would make
a nice collection with one stamp from each country.

Hi alanl - I agree, I'd like to see a collection like that too. I think maybe UN stamps have a collection like that? This stamp is one of the "new definitives" for Thailand, issued 2003. It is 21 x 26 mm. One of a set of four, promoting national identity.

Hey there. Welcome to you both.
Hope you don't mind me chiming in. The UN did run a flag series in the 1980s. Here's Madagascar (used).

Not the most attractive of series. Your Thai stamp has far more going for it.

No problem jamesw, thanks for posting the scan! This is indeed the series that I remember seeing. From your background (great website!) I can understand why you think the UN stamps are a little flat. Something a little more dynamic wouldn't have been to difficult I suppose. Do you have the set?

Hi scifi7. No just the one. I have a bit of a UN collection going, but as with my other collection, I'm tending toward the older stamps. Like the images better.
Thanks for the comment on the website. Nice to get feedback once in a while.
