The examples you have scanned seem to be color misregistrations that were fairly common on multicolored stamps such as this. The stamps have no extra value unless the color shifts were major or entirely missing, so they are more or less "freaks" and may serve simply as conversation pieces.

In fact, the Scott catalog only recognizes three varieties: 1596a (imperforate pair); 1596b (yellow omitted error) annd 1596d (line perforated). The latter is a relatively scarce variety containing the note that the entire sheet is perforated at one time so the perforations meet perfectly at the corner of the stamp and are perf. 11.2. On 1596d, the perforations do not line up perfectly and are perf. 11.

I'm initiate in the U.S. philately and I see these variations very interesting & fun (although variations are very common).
