I'm just getting around to making some scans with my digital microscope that I got for Christmas. Its really pretty cool.
The 1st image is just a case of over inking, I don't think its any big deal other than interesting.

The 2nd image is an undisclosed (by Scotts) constant variety. A single stamp image.

The 3rd is the variety in a block of 4 with 2 normal stamps below the variety. I don't think Scotts will ever assign a minor listing to these either.

I apologise if the image is a little blurry as I had to rest the microscope on my (empty) glass of bourbon.

I'm gonna get some Bourbon- Kentucky Bourbon! Seriously I never seen of that variety and can't say I ever seen it mentioned in Scotts. One would think something of that nature, being so prominent like the "KORPA" would be at least notated?

OK. I give up...

All is see is a difference in the weight of the shading.

Is there something else?
Would someone please tell me that difference in the two?

I'm not sure I really see it either. Is it the flawed "K"?
