Showing Some Stamps: Actually A Question On ID On This One

I think I have looked this one over pretty well, but being new and not perfect your ideas would be appreciated. This one is perf. 12 on the three sides which I think leaves the 1894, 1895 and 1898 versions to pick from. I believe this is a type III which would leave options of the 1894 and 1895 still open, but ah, we have an issue. The 1894 is unwatermarked and the 1895 is double line watermarked. Yet this little one is single line watermarked. So if this is a type three and has a single line watermark then what number would it be? I could have the type wrong for sure as I am still learning. I also was comparing this to a 267 that I have that has the double line watermark, but again he is strange too..he has a small cap on the left "2". I could definitely have all this wrong

I would like to say that I have come across some stamps that had a part-of-line watermark that looked single, but must have been a double in disguise.
The image is fuzzy, but if there is a special heavy hairline mark, this would make this stamp a type 4(#279 class in 1898 New Colors group), and not just a type 3.
It looks rose-carmine in color, so I would say that this is a scott #279bc.

Thank you boygenius39 for your ideas on this one. I posted this one early in my posts here at SCF using a camera. I had forgotten about this post. I will get the stamp back out and do some scanning for better images later today.

The stamp with the small cap is not pictured as I was using it just for reference when attempting to id this one. Ill get a scan of that one as well.
