That is so true.... stamp collecting taught me a lot about geography as a kid. As a Brit collecting commonwealth countries, I remember learning where countries like Nyasaland and Zanzibar are...... good times.

That is so true.... stamp collecting taught me a lot about geography as adult. As an American collecting everything, I am learning where countries like Nyasaland and Zanzibar are...... :)) good times. thanks for letting me plagairize

as for me I am learning of countries I never heard of that don't exist anymore and countries that are just a few years old. this is truly a daily learning experience.

Well, I've learned alot about geography and history. I don't think many other hobbies have caught my
attention like this one has. I collect militaria from time to time, but I find philatelics dominates my
life these days. It's so nice to have a hobby that doesn' require a mobile, game system, or electrical supply.
