After being one of those 'Just Lurking' for a year or so I finally had to join to put my two cents in on the Steiner pages post...
I collect hobbies. After taking a 20 year break from stamps my daughter started me back collecting when I bought her a few US stamps. Now have 4 collectors in my house.
I collect worldwide with German being of emphasis lately.

locobot I too have the same three in my house. In fact the Cats and I are the only ones who look at my books. I think they have another reason for interest in being near me and the albums though other than stamps. I do occasionally scratch their ears and talk to them.
