I got a nice surprise today. I was woke-up by my ex-wifes nephew calling me this morning asking if I was up yet because he had something for me. When he showed up he said what he had for me would cost me a cup of coffee, so while we where sitting here chatting over a cup of coffee he handed me a sack with a couple of books in it. I opened it and inside was a 2006 and a 2008 U.S. commemerative year books. Unfortunately no stamps but the books have alot of neat information about the stamps and a few places where you can mount your own stamps with the stories. I had been wanting to get some of these but because of the prices of them I hadn't gotten any yet. Now after seeing these I think I may start trying to get them. Oh BTW you never know what you will find at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop. Does anyone else have any of these year books and if so what do you think of them. I know they are just a revenue gimmick for the USPS, but all in all I do like the background info into the stamps.

I've got 2004, 2005, and 2007. I really have no use for them and wouldn't mind parting with them. If you're interested in them, I'll go ahead and put them in the SCF for sale area. Only problem would be the shipping as I think it would be fairly high. Let me know if you want them, and I'll post them.

how much would you be wanting for them?? I am on a limited income and I have to really watch what I spend. Also I have found out that when you go to send books and reading materials there is Media Mail which SOMETIMES is cheaper then FIRST CLASS, but sometimes not.

I have a few in the basement somewhere from the 90s, I believe. I'll be happy to pass them along for the cost of shipping also. Do I need to post in the For Sale area, or can I just offer them to you? Don't want to break any rules.

Yeah, I'll do it for the cost of shipping too. Send me your address through the SCF email and I'll send them via the cheapest mailing route, if that's okay with you.
