I don't have any programs on my computer for keeping track of my stamps. I use Scott catalogs, and just circle the stamps I have. It took a long time to first enter all my stamps, but now it is easy enough to circle them as I get them.
The thing I don't like about lists and charts is that I need to have pictures for reference, because I don't know all the stamps by number. This way when I find an interesting stamp, I jsut look it up in the Scott catalog and know if I have it.

Looks like lots of people here just mark off the stamp in the catalog (hard copy), which would be ok to carry around if you're doing one or two countries. If you're collecting multiple countries, I'm not sure carrying around multiple catalog volumes to stamp shows, meetings etc is feasible... right? So at that point what do you do?

Regards
Ram

some cheap android tablet would do the job.
export the list of countries + serial number or do a sexy shooting session of your stamps and use tablet to browse pix while on hunt for new collection items.
