This is a German perfin stamp I found in my collection...Several years ago I came across a few of these, and, knowing nothing about them and assuming they were damaged, I threw them away...This oerfin has a triangluar shape..Any help would be appreciated..

Stamp is Austria, not Germany.

Used to have the catalogs for Germany. Something like 10,000 different patterns, most on multiple stamps. Compare that to China, which only has about 36 patterns and Hong Kong with 66.

The company it is from is usually identified by finding a cover with the perfin and also a corner card / return address. I used to have the catalogs from Germany, really just memo-graphed / photocopied sheets by letter. Assume same is available for Austria. Lots of Patterns are unidentified.

Used to belong to Perfin Club, about 20 years ago.
Sorry, no short answer.
David
