The 33rd President of the United States, Franklin D. Roosevelt, was born on this date (January 30th) in the year 1882, making this his 130th birthday.

As one of the most well known stamp collectors of his time, let's see some stamps depicting FDR. Here's one to start:

Presidents Mustafa Ismet Inönü (1884-1973) and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and map highlighting some major rivers of North America, printed by photogravure, and issued by Turkey on July 15, 1939 as one of a set of six stamps commemorating the 150th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution, Scott No. 818, SG No. 1230.

Churchill probably had hemorrhoids, F.D.R. was in a wheelchair and Stalin was a hard A$$..just a guess..

I checked my German stamps....there is no FDR...the honoring of the USA starts with a Marshall Plan stamp...
