Hi Guys, I have another early one, so can anyone ID this one? I thought it maybe a 10 or 11 but I have no idea. The date on the letter is 11th Sept 1857. Is this stamp worth anything or only $1? Hope the images are clear enough. Thanks for the help

It's not a 10 or 11 as they are imperfs. It has to be a 25 or 26 (or one of the variations of a 25 & 26). For value I'd say not much as the Perfs cut into the design and it's well off center.

A dull red US Scott 26 on cover had a 2011 catalog value of $10.50.

Thanks very much all, I think Steve is correct it must be a 26, my pocket size cat does not show a picture of that stamp. Ok I'll put it on ebay for 7 bucks. And I'll take a look at that thread mentioned.
