No new Scott # for the Sennett booklets (S11111 & S22222) because they both have solid tagging. What about the Ashton-Potter bklt of 20 reprint that has different tagging? Do you know if it got it's own Scott suffix?
Ashton-Potter booklet of 20 First printing, plate no. P1111, overall tagging, Scott 4644c Second printing (reprint), plate no. P2222, solid tagging, Scott 4644e
Ashton-Potter also produced the ATM pane of 18, Scott 4709b.
Has anyone had any luck in ordering these reprints from SFS? I saw on ebay that there is also a P2222 reprint of the APU coil stamp issue. Since the booklet stamps have tagging differences, do the coil stamps as well??? Thanks for any info!
Okay, I found the answer to my coil reprint question on another forum:
"'Tis old news by now ... but ... with stamps in hand, I can now verify that the P2222 Four Flags coil has different tagging than the P1111 version. Basically, the difference is the same as that for the booklets ... P1111 is printed on non-prephosphored paper, P2222 on prephosphored paper. Overall tagging for P1111, solid tagging for P2222."
