Hope any of you Sandgropers in Perth
will join me in the 70Km
bicycle ride on March 18th up the Freeway.
Mandurah to Perth

Closing the Southward Freeway from 6am to 10:30am
$75 entrance fee,
to help those poor souls kick Asthma in the butt.

Since coming to the country, not had an any asthma myself
and feeling great, must be the stress free lifestyle.

Good luck with the ride Rod! Too far for me to come with my bike I'm afraid, but I'll be with you in spirit.
I too suffer from asthma, but oddly, it's become worse since I moved out of the city to the country over 4 years ago. Can't win for trying!

Nice words James,
bad luck for you, that's odd though.
I still get a touch of hayfever but the antihistimines work a beaut.
We have a dry heat here in the West which is great.
I think the cycling has helped,
can't wait to get the next Cholesterol print out
see how much it has assisted there. :)

I'll give you a salute when I pass the finishing line
should take about 2hrs 20 mins I reckon.

I too wish you success with your trip Rod.

I have been an asthmatic person since the age of five and I know it is not pleasant. Needless to say, I have not grown out of it.

All the best

Good luck with the ride! I'm not asthmatic but I suffer from allergies. May and June are the worst for me. Since I've been here in the Gulf, it's seemed to subsided quite a bit. I can manage it with antihistamines.I can only imagine how difficult it is for asthmatics.

Best luck rodd222.

So many factors are involved for ASTHMA,
that it is difficult to pin point. From Environment to common
food etc. My physician friend who was very athletic in medical
school. Migrating to USA, in Ohio. She developed Asthma.
Finally she settle in Arizona. she had minimal.
Some how she started RIKI and Tibetan medication.
She is completely free at present, so we do not know
what works from one person to other.

All the best rodd

Well, there you go, see
I had heard when I volunteered for
an asthmatic study in my twenties, that the
occurence was wide spread, and SCF replies would support that.

I found it a pain in the butt, especially if one
is competitive.
What really hurts is to see the little tackers in
hospital that have to spend the night sometimes, with attacks.
It breaks your heart.
